Interpretation

  • "You" means the individual accessing or using the Service.

Acknowledgment

These Terms of Service govern Your use of this Service and form the agreement between You and the Company. By accessing or using the Service, You agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If You disagree with any part of these Terms, You may not access the Service.

You represent that You are over the age of 18. The Company does not permit those under 18 to use the Service.

Snappy Scout is an editorial and informational website that publishes moving guides, neighborhood profiles, and related content to help people make informed decisions about relocating. We also provide a moving quote request tool that allows You to submit Your moving details and be connected with third-party Moving Companies.

Snappy Scout is not a moving company. We do not provide moving services, and We are not a party to any agreement You may enter into with a Moving Company. The inclusion of any Moving Company in our Service does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of that company's services, pricing, or conduct.

Moving Quote Requests

When You submit a moving quote request through our Service, You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information including Your name, email address, phone number, origin and destination locations, and move details.

As part of the quote request process, You will select up to four Moving Companies from our network. By submitting a quote request, You consent to Us sharing Your provided contact information and move details exclusively with the Moving Companies You select, so they may contact You directly with quotes or information about their services.

By submitting a quote request, You agree and consent that the Moving Companies You select may contact You by text message, email, and/or phone — including through automated or pre-recorded means — regarding Your move and their services. We are not responsible for the conduct, communications, pricing, or services of any Moving Company, and any transaction or agreement You enter into with a Moving Company is solely between You and that company.

You also consent to receiving a one-time verification text message to Your provided phone number as part of the quote submission process.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content — including moving guides, neighborhood profiles, editorial articles, data visualizations, and all associated text and imagery — are and will remain the exclusive property of the Company and its contributors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

Our content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, or otherwise used without the prior written consent of the Company. Our trademarks and branding may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent.

Your Feedback to Us

You assign all rights, title and interest in any feedback or suggestions You provide to the Company. If for any reason such assignment is ineffective, You agree to grant the Company a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide right and license to use, reproduce, sub-license, distribute, and exploit such feedback without restriction.
