Boones Creek Neighborhood Guide

Where Horses Outnumber Starbucks

🧭Generally defined as the area stretching along Boones Creek Road from Gray Station Road down to the creek itself, with Old Gray Station and Rock Springs Road forming rough eastern and western boundaries.

📌Boones Creek is best known for its historic mill and being older than Johnson City itself. Tennessee's first community got its name from Daniel Boone, the long-hunter, explorer, and scout that had been in the area as early as 1760. It is known as one of the premier neighborhoods in JC.

👕You can spot a Boones Creek local by their garage full of farm equipment they don't actually farm with.

👍Move here if you want acreage without feeling completely isolated from civilization.

👎Don't say we didn't warn you about the commute during ETSU rush hour traffic.

TLDR; country adjacent but still convenient.
