Adair Park Neighborhood Guide

Adair Park is a historic southwest Atlanta neighborhood where Victorian-era homes sit largely intact and largely undiscovered, drawing buyers priced out of Grant Park and Summerhill who are willing to trade turnkey condition for genuine architectural character. Bounded by Metropolitan Parkway to the west and the I-75/85 connector to the east, the neighborhood runs south from University Avenue through a stretch of tree-lined streets that still carry the bones of Atlanta's early 20th-century residential fabric. The renovation work here is real and ongoing, and the community tends to attract people serious about preservation rather than quick flips. Freight trains running nearby are a fact of life, particularly at night, and that tradeoff is part of what keeps the neighborhood accessible while the rest of the city catches up to what locals already know.
